Job description Quality Engineer (Manual testing).
Avendata Group is in need of a quality conscious Quality Engineer with good knowledge in manual testing. The candidates with the 2-5 years of experience and interested in the quality and reliability of the software would best fit into the position.
The candidate that will be chosen will undergo various tests, which include functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and system testing. The work will involve test case design, the tests, defect and data validation to test application performance.
This job will be entirely remote and can be combined with such candidates who feel comfortable working on distributed teams, as well as using real-world enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer will include:
Conducting functional, regression, smoke and system testings.
Development and execution of test cases that are elaborate.
JIRA to define, record and monitor defects.
Websites and cross browsing testing.
Checking data using basic SQL.
Conducting system migration verification and data test.
Working with business and development.
Making application quality guarantees on release.
Good records on the testing processes.
Participating in the release processes and verification.
The qualities required in this position are being observant and the likelihood of identifying potential issues in the initial stages.
Educational Needs and technical abilities.

Manual Testing
Good experience in manual testing.
Regression, smoke, functional and system testing.
The skills in test case design and execution.
Test Case Design & Execution
Experience in writing and the performance of test cases.
Knowledge of test processes.
Ability to obtain cover of tests.
Defect Tracking
Experience with JIRA.
Ability to document and track defects.
Defect required lifecycle.
SQL & Data Validation
The basic SQL skills (CRUD operations, WHERE).
Ability to verify information on database.
Information security knowledge.
Website & Migration Testing
Website testing experience and cross-browser testing.
System testing Understanding of system migration testing.
Ability to authenticate information that has been moved.
Tools & Environment
The experience in the use of VPN and RDP.
