Job description- QA Automation Engineer.
Delph is recruiting QA Automation Engineer; he/ she must have good knowledge in Java, Selenium and SQL. It is a full time, work-at-home position that can be offered to such professionals that love automation testing, quality engineering, and operate on an Agile environment.
The best candidate will be asked to devise scalable automation systems, cross-check the information in the back-end with SQL and work with the members of the cross-functional staff to make software more reliable overall.
The position will best suit those interested in the role of working within the sectors of automation, scheduled testing procedures and deliverance of frequent software release as an implication of the continuous integration and deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities
As a QA Automation engineer, you will be required to work and will have to:
Creation, production and support of Java and Selenium automated test frameworks.
Specifications Writing scalable and reusable auto scripts.
SQL validation of the data.
Incorporating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Agile development experience.
Cooperation with the Devops and the developers.
Reporting and monitoring, defect detection.
Conducting regression tests and test coverage.
Attending sprint planning and sprint review meetings.
The constantly increasing automation efficiency and reliability.
The position needs high technical capability and competence as there is a requirement to ensure a well-structured test practice in a remote location.
Required Technical Skills
The candidates submitting their applications to this job would need to possess the following expertise:
Java & Selenium Automation
Java programming expertise: fair practical knowledge.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Learning in designing and servicing of automation systems.
The knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) or other design patterns.
SQL for Data Validation
Adequate SQL querying of data bases.
Background verification of information and consistency.
Knowledge of the concept of relational database.
Development of Automation Framework.
Scalability and maintainable automation structures experience.
The proficiency of the test design patterns and the most effective practices.
Capacity to optimize automation scripts to be of good performance.
Agile & CI/CD Exposure
Agile development methods practice.
Previous experience in that work with the CI/CD pipelines.
Continuous testing strategy perspective.
